Practice - Negative Painting

This is an exercise from 'The watercolorists essential notebook' about negative painting. The paint went on too thick in the beginning and made it almost impossible to get a nice smooth texture in the end and I sort of gave up on it.

The book I got it from though is a great reference for techniques and such, if you're interested, Gordon Mackenzie is the author.
