My Buddy And Me

This was taken on June 7th, the day before we put Mustard to sleep. We took her down to the lake for one last swim, and it was like someone set up the sky for us, the clouds were all outlined in gold, and there was everything from a light peach to deep pink to violet within them. The air and the water were warm, and all the birds and frogs were singing for us. And most of all, we were happy. I think it will be one of my fondest memories of her.
