Painted from a reference photo I took earlier this season near Johnnie Lake. They were everywhere, and it was very beautiful.
I'm very happy with how the lily looks, there were a lot of tentative, thin layers that went into it. The composition and the background leave a lot to be desired, and I'll keep that in mind for next time.
