Birth, Death, Resurrection.Birth, Death, Resurrection
One final breath is drawn,
As last light ebbs from the sky.
A family bids this elder farewell,
As tears drip from their eyes.
Though this life has passed away,
As many lives have before
This family smiles with heartfelt pride
As this spirit again goes home.
In this realm of eternal knowledge,
In the cradle of this life,
This spirit reflects on what it learned
Of love, of victory, of strife.
Form stripped from it's being,
Singularity parts from the soul,
This life waits in limbo,
Ever in a timeless hold.
And in the world of the mortal,
Two lovers by the sea,
Fatefully lay with one another,
And a child is conceived.
Nine long moons pass as this life thrives,
For this spirit to awake,
And when the moment is at hand,
An new form, this spirit takes.
A stirring in this earthly womb,
A cry of unbridled joy,
This child is placed in it's mother's arms
As the sun begins to rise.
